Fixing the ASRock Challenger RX6600 fan curve on Linux

Preface

Put bluntly: the ASRock Challenger RX6600 has a fan curve that is essentially digital on Linux. It's either completely on, or somewhat silent. In order to stop your fan from sounding like a Trent 1000 jet engine ingesting 20 kilogrammes of pebbles, you can do the following:

1. Install corectrl
2. Follow the instructions in their Gitlab to enable it on session startup
3. Go to System, Settings, tick Start Minimised
4. Dial the fan curve down a notch. I've got 50ºC set to 30%.
